Naïve Realism and Minimal Self

This paper defends the idea that phenomenological approaches to self-consciousness can enrich current analytic philosophy of perception, by showing how discussions minimal enhance our understanding phenomenology conscious perceptual experiences. As a case study, I investigate nature relationship between naïve realism, contemporary Anglophone theory and experiential minimalism (or, ‘minimal self’ view), pre-reflective model originated in Phenomenological tradition. argue realism is not only compatible with, but be supplemented with novel way. The suggestion there are reasons combine minimalism. My focus here will on drawing connection notion self two core theoretical commitments relationalism transparency.
